I follow organic practices but am not certified. My goal is to leave the soil in better condition than when I started. I prioritize conserving pollinator & wildlife habitats & love adding native plants on my farm. I am currently a one-woman operation but also get a lot of help from farming neighbors. My main crops are carrots, sugar snap peas, pole beans, cucumbers, tomatoes & peppers. I'm a transplanted Midwesterner (go Illini!) & love being able to grow year-round here in NC.
