Zach’s Fresh Produce has been at the Carrboro Market for 23 years. They are self-described “old-fashioned” farmers and say they love the market’s customers and the other old-timers there. Because of their connection with the market, a picture of Dalton and his wife Hazeline appeared in the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum of American History in 1994.
