Blessed Earth Farm

Graham, NC- Rose Shepherd of Blessed Earth Farm has been selling impeccable pickles & preserves at the Carrboro Farmer’s Market since 1989! From April 2013 to April 2015, Rose was in FL spending time with her family and rethinking her business. She has eliminated her wholesale and web business entirely. She has cut back on the variety of products she will offer while specializing in all of your favorites and will be at the market on Saturdays May thru October. Rose has a new permanent space on the corner next to Lyon Farms. November through April, Rose sends out periodic “availability lists” via e-mail and sets a time & meeting place to pick up your goods. Be sure to get on the e-mail list! Rose primarily grows fruit & berries, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and herbs on her 1 acre “homestead” in Alamance County. Other produce is typically purchased from fellow famers at several local farmers’ markets.

Growing practices: All growing practices are organic with the exception of a low-spray regimen for plums and peaches. No chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides or fungicides are ever used in the production areas.
