People: Bill Dow
Bill arrived in the area in 1978 and he began coming to the market around that time. He enjoys the opportunity to work with young people on the farm, and several of his previous interns have gone on to agricultural work with the Peace Corps. In addition to the market, CSA shares, and on-farm picking, some of the farm’s produce is delivered to local restaurants in Durham (Toast, Piedmont, Nana’s), Chapel Hill (Il Palio, Margaret’s Cantina, 411, Catering Company, Azure Grill) and Pittsboro (Fearrington).
