On Wednesday, June 22nd, The Carrboro Farmers' Market presented Leslie Hienztman with a Blueberry Canning Demo. Class participants learned hands-on from the Leslie anded walk away with their own finished pint jar of blueberries, as well as additional canning recipes and coupons from the BALL corporation. Classes cost $10 and all proceeds go to benefit a different local hunger relief shelter.
